Tatul Hakobyan Will Lecture On Four Day April War In Los Angeles

On the evening of Thursday, May 26, Armenian reporter and author Tatul Hakobyan will lecture on the Four Day April War between Artsakh and Azerbaijan and the Nagorno Karabakh peace process in La Crescenta, California.

The event, held under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate (Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America), and organized by the Regional Committee of Hamazkayin in USA and by Asbarez Daily, begins at 7:30 p. m. at the Prelacy “Dikran and Zarouhie Der Ghazarian” Hall.

Tatul Hakobyan’s US trip is financed by the ANI Armenian Research Center, Yerevan, Armenia.

The talk and Q&A session will be followed by a presentation of his two books – “Karabakh Diary; Green and Black” and “Armenians and Turks”. The books are available in 3 versions: Western Armenian, Eastern Armenian and English.

Hakobyan is the 2016 winner of “The Time for Freedom of Press” – for consistent and comprehensive coverage of Karabagh conflict.

Hakobyan has formerly worked as a correspondent for the newspapers Ankakhutyun (1991-1995) Yerkir (1998-2000), Azg (2000-2005), Aztag (since 2005), The Armenian Reporter (2008-2009) and as a political observer on regional issues of Radiolur news program of Public Radio of Armenia (2004-2008). Since 2009 he has been an analyst at the independent Civilitas Foundation. Hakobyan is the coordinator of the ANI Armenian Research Center and the reporter with the CivilNet online TV and Aztag daily.
