Dear Friends, Colleagues and Followers,
My 12-years journey with CivilNet and Civilitas Foundation has come to an end.
CivilNet’s new management and my understanding of reporting/writing (especially since 44-day disastrous war) and relations with Armenia’s neighboring countries (especially after this humiliating defeat) are incompatible.
My dignity and the right to think freely, to write and speak freely, to express myself in a free manner are not subject of bargaining.
In my personal view, in any media organization, the management has no right to interfere in the work of a reporter, journalist, columnist, analyst and commentator. It is simply unacceptable when the state tries to interfere in the work of the media.
My 12 years of professional engagement with CivilNet / Civilitas Foundation has been highly productive and extremely interesting, hence I leave this wonderful organization with pride and satisfaction.
I wish to all my colleagues with whom I had the opportunity to work, great professional achievements in the future, good luck and happiness.
