Report of a Karabagh delegation meeting with Soviet official in Moscow.

In a press conference here on Jan. 21, a prominent from Moscow, Edmond Keosoyan, revealed that a delegation from Karabagh has met with Dimitri Demichev, a high-ranking Soviet official in Moscow, and has presented him a petition demanding the integration of Karabagh with Soviet Armenia

Director Keoseyan said the 15-member delegation met with Demichev for more than an hour, after which it handed him the petition signed by close to 100,000 [75,000 by other estimates] persons. According to Kesoyan, the Soviet official promised the delegation members that he will forward their case to the Committee of Nationalities for their evaluation.
